Start your journey to Tibet with a spectacular flight over the snow capped Himalayan mountains past Mt. Everest, Malaku and Kanchanjunga. In Lhasa visit the famous Potala and Norbulinkha palaces, the great Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple, and walk amongst the crowded Tibetan market - the bustling Barkor Bazaar.Drive past the beautiful Turquoise lake on the way to the historic town of Gyantse with its unique multi-storied Kumbum Stupa.
Our itinerary also includes the famous but rarely visited Shalu and Sakya Monasteries. After visiting the Tashilungpo at Shigatse we start our drive over the Himalayas by way of the incredible Arniko Highway that connects Kathmandu with Lhasa. Enjoy fabulous Himalayan mountain scenery again - this time from ground level !! Once over the high passes flanked by a range of Himalayan giants we enter a land of lush subtropical jungles and rushing streams as we descend steeply into the Bhote Koshi Gorge towards Nepal. At the town of Zangmu on the Tibet-Nepal border we bid farewell to our Tibet friends and drive through the terraced countryside of Nepal to end our journey in Kathmandu. An unforgettable encounter with forbidden Tibet.

Day to Day Itinerary  
Day 01
Arrive in Kathmandu Airport & Transfer to Hotel
Day 02
Free day in Kathamandu
Day 03

Take the international Airport, fly panoramic Himalayan Ranges to Tibet Gong Kar airport and drive to (100km) Lhasa. Just 50 minutes your foot steps on the roof of the world. Che ck the Hotel and complete rest for acclimatization.
Day 04

Morning Visit Potala a place as one of the wonders of eastern architecture. Afternoon the lunch Visit Jokong. Jokong is the most revetrd religious structure in Tibet.
Day 05
Morning Drepung monastery and after Lunch Norbu Linkha, Traditional Tibetan Medicine Centre and market shopping. if you like to see Tibetan Home than you can see them.

Day 06

Drive to Gyantse cross Gampa la pass (4794m) and be seen Yamdrock holy Lake the home of wrathful Deities (4488m) and have take Lunch at Nagar Tse (4500m) cross Kharu La pass (5050m) and from there you can see Mt: Nyanchen Khan sang Glacier (7191m) then you get Gyanchen (3950m) and from Lhasa (255km) check the O/N Hotel. Morning Visit Palkhor Chode Monastery. it was once a multidenominational complex of monasteres and Kubum Situpa.
Day 07

Drive to Shigatse (3900m) (90km) from Gyantse check hotel and it is second Largest Town in Tibet. As will as, Visit Tashi Lhunpo Monastery associated with the gelugpa order and is one the six great gelugpa institutions as long Drepung and seat of Penchen Lama's lineage.
Day 08
Drive to Lhatse via Sak kya Monastery (4280m) (165km) from Shigatse and Visit Sak kya Monastery and Drive to Lhatse.
Day 09
Fri
Drive to Nylam via Thingri Mt. Everest Vision from Thingri and O/N at Nyalam. (3750m)
Day 10
Sat
Drive to Zammu or Kotari Bye Tibet and welcome to Nepal and Hotel Any.
Day 11
Free day in Kathamdnu
Day 12
End of Programme
 

Tour cost include:

  • Tibet Travel Permit, entrance fee
  • Twin share accommodation in respective hotel
  • Tours and transfers with English speaking guide
  • All land transport in 4-Wheel Drive jeeps

  • China Group Visa fees (US$ 50 per person)
