Island Peak also known as Imja Tse is one of the most popular and fascinating trekking peaks in Nepal situated at Khumbu valley for climbing on Himalayas. The blend of Everest base camp trek and Island Peak climbing is probably the best trip in Nepal revered by adventure seeker. This is a fabulous Himalayan trek that takes you to the heart of khumbu region near to MT Everest (8848m). This peak was first scaled in 1953 by British expedition team as preparation for the Everest climb and even today the Island peak climbing is a first step before any summit attempt of giant peaks in Himalaya. Island peak not only offers an enjoyable climb but also provides some of the most spectacular scenery of Himalayas in the Everest region. This fascinating trek offers you with stunning mountain panorama, high sparkling lakes, beautiful icy waterfall and snowcapped villages.

Island peak climbing starts with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to lukla gate way town to Himalayas. The trail descend passing through different colored and beautiful cultural villages.  We trek sideways to Bhote Koshi to the Sherpa homeland trading center of Namche adoring their friendly hospitality and witnessing the most intense Himalayan sceneries on earth. This trekking trail passes through some of the most beautiful places on earth. The trail passes through different villages, forest with rhododendron and oak, rivers and gigantic Mountain View.

Island peak climbing is an adventurous and exciting trek which requires good physical condition and peak climbing training. Commence the trek to explore some of the most beautiful places on earth and experience the culture of warm welcoming Sherpa’s.


Day 01: Welcome to Kathmandu valley (1350m). Upon your arrival we transfer you to hotel. Rest overnight.

Day 02: Today Kathmandu city sightseeing and rest of the day is for preparation for trekking.

Day 03: Today an Early morning flight to Lukla (2850m). After lunch we trek for 4hours to Phakding (2680m). Rest overnight.

Day 04: Today we trek for 7hours From Phakding to Namche Bazar (3441m). Rest overnight.

Day 05: Exploration and acclimatization day around Namche Bazar. Rest overnight.

Day 06: Today we trek for 6hours From Namche Bazar to Dole (4040m). Rest overnight.

Day 07: Today we trek for 4hours from Dole to Machhermo (4410m). Rest overnight.

Day 08: Today we trek for 5hours From Machhermo to Gokyo (4790m). Rest overnight.

Day 09: Early morning Hike up to Gokyo RI (5365m) and then trek to Thanak (4890m). Rest overnight.

Day 10: Today we trek from Thanak Crossing Cho-la pass (5320m) and descend to Labuche (4910m). Rest overnight.

Day 11: Today we trek From Labuche to Gorekshep (5180m) and then trek to Everest base camp (5365m).  Rest overnight.

Day 12: Today Early morning climb to Kalapathar and then trek down to Dingboche (4360m). Rest overnight.

Day 13: Today we trek from Dingboche to Island peak base camp. Rest overnight.

Day 14:  Rest and climbing preparation day at Island Peak Base Camp

Day 15: Today we climb From Island Base Camp to Summit and then to Chhukung. Rest overnight.

Day 16: Today we trek for 6-7hours From Chhukung to Tengboche. Rest overnight.

Day 15: Today we trek for 5hours From Tengboche to Namche. Rest overnight.

Day 17: Today we trek for 7hours From Namche to Lukla. Rest overnight.

Day 18: Today early morning flight From Lukla back to Katmandu. Enjoy evening dinner and rest overnight.

Day 19: Explore around Kathmandu valley. Enjoy the local market and night pub. Rest overnight.

Day 20: Today after lunch we assist you to international airport for your final Departure from Nepal
